David Smith

David is a retired band director.  He taught for 22 years at Colerain High School, Colerain Middle School, Houston Elementary School, Colerain Elementary School, Simon Kenton High School, and Twenhofel Middle School.  His ensembles have been awarded many awards for excellence.

David was awarded the Colerain Athletic Boosters Yerkes Award, Colerain PTA Teacher of the Year, Klaes Nobel Award for Education, 8-time Kenton County Board of Education Educator of Distinction, 20-time recipient of the Who's Who of America Teachers.

David was/is a member of Ohio Music Education Association, Kentucky Music Education Association, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.

David has been an educational representative and instrument detail technician at Wert Music for 4 awesome years!
