Bonnietta Benn
Flute
After graduating from Western Michigan University as a music education major, Bonnietta was a member of the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, the KSO Woodwind Quintet, principal flutist of the Bach Orchestra, and flute instructor on the music faculty at Kalamazoo College. After moving to northern Michigan, she was a founding member of the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra, founded and performed in the GLCO Woodwind Quintet, and founded and performed in the Northern Michigan Flute Choir. She has performed extensively in the Baroquen Consort. She was a member and soloist with the Straits Area Concert Band. She has given many solo and small ensemble recitals. Bonnietta started teaching flute lessons when she was 14 and has taught students ages 8-75.
