Reed Carter

Reed Carter is an oboist based in Cincinnati, OH. They are currently completing their Artist Diploma at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatoy of Music (CCM) where they also completed their Master's degree in 2025. Reed studies closely with Titus Underwood and previously studied with Robert Walters at the Oberlin Conservatory, where they graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2023. They are currently a substitute for the Nashville Symphony and the Firelands Symphony Orchestra, as well as freelancing in the greater Cincinnati area. Reed enjoys dancing flamenco, cats, and weird literary fiction.
