Curtis Nurnberg

Curtis has been playing drums and percussion for over 13 years and brings a passion for music that spans a wide range of styles, including rock, funk, jazz, and contemporary worship. He began his musical journey in middle school and was a member of the 2015 Midstates Champion Dixie Heights High School Marching Band before spending two seasons on the drumline and marching in the Reds Opening Day Parade.

Today, Curtis performs regularly with local bands Rachel’s Papers and PressESC, as well as his church’s worship band. His active performance experience and love for teaching help students build confidence, develop strong fundamentals, and have fun making music.
