Wert Music has divided the rental band instruments into four groups based on type and then three classifications based on use.  All instruments have been inspected, repaired as needed and thoroughly cleaned.  For a small additional fee an optional maintenance and replacement fee covers the instrument if it is damaged or stolen (CRRP: Complete Repair & Replacement Plan).  Click here for details:

Along with new, there are two types of previously-owned instruments we offer for rent:

Economy, Good Condition:  
Cosmetically fair, mechanically great.

Previously Rented, Excellent Condition:
Cosmetically excellent, mechanically great; a few marks, nicks or dents are noticeable.

New/Like New:  
New is right out of a box, never rented or sold.  Like New is very little use, like new cosmetically and mechanically great.

Also, students interested in Group Four instruments may want to check with their band teacher to see if one is available through their school. In addition to the monthly rental and the optional Maintenance fee there is also tax.
